
Earlier this month, the Greater Egg Harbor Indoor Color Guard wrapped up their season at Eastern High School! The program made amazing strides for their first year and we couldn't be more proud. The students now part ways and will gear up for their upcoming marching band seasons!







Mrs. Hinton's students reflected on the significance of Memorial Day, and they created art to honor the lives of the service men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. They may be gone, but they are never forgotten.


The students in tbe REACH program spent zero period exlporing and climbing part of the Project Adventure course. In the students words, "Loved it! It was so much fun!" Thank you Ms. Toy and Mrs. Molinelli!





Culinary served Street Tacos 🌮 at the Messages of Hope Event sponsored by our wonderful Teen Center.





To honor all Americans who gave their lives in service to our nation, Oakcrest JROTC cadets placed flags around campus, and at the Atlantic County Veterans and Holy Cross cemeteries over three days. Cadets will be involved in Memorial Day ceremonies in the local area all week.







As we are winding down the 2022-23 school year - we would just like to congratulate -Tiffany Tran our Valedictorian and Kate McAvaddy our Salutatorian !! We are very proud of both of you as all of your hard work and dedication has paid off!!


The Oakcrest High School Boys Tennis tennis team had a strong finish to their season with 4 out of 5 match wins, including a win down in Stone Harbor at the beach! The team also celebrated our 3 seniors for senior day during their final match of the season!

🏃🏼♀️🏅 Amazing Results at Atlantic County Track Championships! 🏆
Last Friday, Stockton witnessed an incredible display of athleticism as Greater Egg soared to victory in multiple events. Here are some highlights:


Atlantic County recap:
Royanah Farmer 1st place in the 100m and 200m. Ranked 2nd in NJ in the 100m 11.98
Received award for athlete of the meet.
4x100 Relay 1st place



Congratulations to the Girls' Lightweight 4+, who were one of 8 local crews to qualify for finals at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta (around 70 local crews competed). Stotesbury is the largest high school rowing event in the US, with around 4500 rowers from across the US and Canada.






The students in the REACH program had a blast during falcon time as they worked with NHS to make kites! Great job everyone!


Oakcrest High School is a collection hub for plastic bags. OHS has diverted over 35lbs of plastic bag waste from landfill to being used in Trex products. Bags can be brought to Oakcrest High School or the Mays Landing Acme. See the attached poster for details!


The OHS Culinary and World Language Club students celebrated Cinco de Mayo by making nachos with all their favorite toppings. ¡Qué delicioso!





The Dance program held their end of year banquet May 17. Our newest members of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts were inducted, the OHS Dance Team was recognized & students earned certificates for their years of achievement. It was a great evening to celebrate dance!

Oakcrest Girls Lacrosse celebrating their 9-5 win on Tuesday. This is the first win in 4 seasons for the Lady Falcons. The team is showing that hard work and dedication pays off. Way to go Falcons!
