Absegami Music Prioritizes Community, Announces Arts Festival
Fresh off of a successful trip to New Orleans, Louisiana, the Absegami Band program turns to a full slate of events throughout the spring, including the announcement of the first “Galloway Arts Festival”.
45 members of the Absegami band program traveled to New Orleans to participate in a music festival, where they performed alongside various ensembles from throughout the country. The only school representing the North East, Absegami performed a series of diverse works in the concert band setting on a program that also included orchestras, jazz bands, percussion ensembles and more.
