Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!
I obtained my bachelor's degree in marine biology and environmental science from Fairleigh Dickinson University. While in college, I spent part of a summer studying (and snorkeling) in Hawaii. I also studied abroad for a semester in England. In addition to traveling all over England, I was able to visit Ireland, Scotland, France and Italy.
After graduating from FDU, I worked for two years in an environmental laboratory conducting water quality tests. I realized the routine of lab work was not for me and decided to pursue a career in teaching instead. I have been at Absegami ever since. About 12 years ago, I obtained my master's degree from Western Governor's University in Science Education (Physics). Last summer I completed my second master's degree from WGU in Earth Science Education.
I have taught the freshman science course for most of my career. I also teach chemistry. Previously, I taught Oceanography, Biology and Forensics.
