Mr. Harritopulos
Hello and welcome! My name is Mr. Harritopulos, and I’m proud to have been part of the Absegami community for over 17 years as both a Special Education and Social Studies teacher. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with so many amazing students, families, colleagues, and administrators, and I’m truly excited to continue building those connections as we work together to help our students reach their fullest potential.
This year, I’ll be teaching U.S. History I and U.S. History II in co-teaching settings with some fantastic colleagues:

I’m also available during Brave Time on Days A & D, which is a great chance for students to stop by for extra support, questions, or just to connect.
Outside of school, my greatest joy comes from spending time with my wife and our two boys. Whether we’re at the beach, firing up the grill, tackling some yard work, or just enjoying the little moments, family time is what keeps me grounded and energized. I’m also a big football fan—GO BIRDS!—and I try to bring that same energy and team spirit into the classroom and community.
