Hi everyone! 👋 My name is Megan Bene, and I’m excited to be heading into my 19th year as a Science Teacher here at Absegami! 🧪🔬

I actually started my teaching career right here at Absegami back in 2008 after graduating from Rowan University with a BS in Biology and a BA in Teacher Education. Since then, I’ve added a MA in Education: Administration and Policy to my collection of degrees—and somehow, 19 years have flown by!

This year, I’ll be spending my afternoons teaching Biology and Honors Anatomy, so I’m looking forward to lots of science, learning, and hopefully a few “wow, that’s actually pretty cool!” moments along the way. 🧬🫀

I’ll also be working with our administrative team as a Student Coordinator, which will be my second year in that role. I’m excited for another great year and to continue working with the amazing Absegami community!
