	Criteria	Incomplete This criteria has not been addressed in any meaningful way or has not been completed.	Sub Par Some elements have been met, but most of the criteria fails to be addressed.	Acceptable This criteria has been mostly addressed, however, there is room for improvement.	Excellent This criteria has been met in every possible way, and may even exceed expectations.

	Design Brief Write a summary of the function of your chair Include function, size, cost, materials and the audience you are designing for.
	Research Find out about all of the possibilities all that need to be considered when building a chair . Develop a table that defines ten ergonomic elements that need to be satisfied
	Research Furniture Styles Research five different furniture styles that interest you and develop a timeline for a Power Point presentation

	Materials Review the possible materials that could be used in the development of the chair. Describe the characteristics of the materials selected
	Elements of Design Develop ten sketches that will encompass the elements of design. See the attached check list to be sure that you covered all the elements of design
