Design Brief : In order to write the design brief think about
the audience in which you would like to reach and the style of
furniture you are trying to create or copy. Think about your idea,
and reflect what you recall about your favorite chair. What do
you like about it? What activity are you usually doing in your
seat of choice? Is it watching TV or doing homework or eating
dinner. Think about the type of seat that you may find very uncomfortable.
What are some of the characteristics that make a chair so uncomfortable?
Is it that your back, legs or bottom hurt when you sit in the
chair. How could you improve that chair? Finally think about the
audience you are designing for. Is it a child, a student, an elder
or even a handicap person? Type a one page summary of your interpretation
of the new "Designer Chair".
