Mrs. Brenda Callaghan

Mrs. Callaghan arrived at Absegami in September of 2004. Prior to joining the district's supervisory staff, Mrs. Callaghan taught Mathematics at Absegami High School and Fairfax High School in Fairfax, Virginia.  Mrs. Callaghan has previously served as the Chairperson of the District Professional Development Committee.  Mrs. Callaghan earned her BA in Commerce & Engineering from Drexel University and her M.Ed. in Secondary Education - Mathematics from The George Washington University.   Prior to entering the teaching profession, Mrs. Callaghan worked as a financial advisor for eight years and served on the Board of Directors of several organizations including housing corporations, condo associations, Delaware Valley Chapter of National Kidney Foundation as well as Drexel University Board of Governors.  Mrs. Callaghan enjoys the outdoors, golfing, and traveling.  Mrs. Callaghan's primary responsibility at Absegami is the supervision of the Mathematics and Business Departments but additional professional duties include the overseeing of Absegami Student Council and Math Club.
